画像を1MB以下・500KB以下にする方法

  • まず、大きさ（px）を下げるのが効果的
  • それでも大きければ、画質を「軽め」にする
  • 証明写真は、指定のpxも確認する

1MB以下にしたいとき

  1. 大きさを「1600px」か「1200px」にします。
  2. 画質を「ふつう」にして、圧縮します。
  3. 1MBを超えたら、画質を「軽め」にします。

500KB以下にしたいとき

  1. 大きさを「1200px」か「800px」にします。
  2. 画質を「軽め」にします。

形式の選び方

写真は、JPEGが基本です。WebPは、もっと小さくなりますが、提出先が対応しているか確認が必要です。

結果の確認

表示されるサイズを見て、上限より少し小さければ成功です。上限ぎりぎりなら、もう一段階小さくします。

  • For ID photos, check the required pixel size too

To get under 1 MB

  1. Set the size to "1600px" or "1200px".
  2. Set quality to "Normal" and compress.
  3. If it's still over 1 MB, set quality to "Small".

To get under 500 KB

  1. Set the size to "1200px" or "800px".
  2. Set quality to "Small".

Choosing the format

JPEG is the default for photos. WebP gets even smaller, but check that the recipient supports it.

If the displayed size is a bit below the limit, you're done. If right at the limit, go one step smaller.
