PDF圧縮でファイルが外部に送られない仕組み

「PDFをアップロードして圧縮」するサービスでは、書類が一度サーバーに渡ります。このサイトは、その必要がありません。
仕組み
- ページを開くと、圧縮に必要なプログラムが、ブラウザに読み込まれます。
- 選んだPDFは、端末のメモリの中だけで読み取られ、各ページが画像になります。
- 画像が再びPDFにまとめられ、端末に保存されます。
この間、PDFの中身が外部に送られることはありません。
向いている書類
成績証明書、履歴書、契約書など、外に出したくない書類に向いています。
注意すること
- 初回の読み込みには、インターネット接続が必要です
- 古いブラウザでは、動かないことがあります
- 共用のパソコンでは、保存したファイルを使用後に消してください
確認方法
パソコンで、ブラウザの開発者ツールの「ネットワーク」を開いたまま圧縮すると、ファイルを送る通信がないことがわかります。

With services that "upload your PDF to compress it", the document passes through a server. This site doesn't need that.
How it works
- When you open the page, the program needed for compression is loaded into the browser.

- The images are assembled back into a PDF and saved to your device.
During this, the contents of the PDF are never sent out.
