背景が透明な画像を扱うときの注意（PNG→JPG）

透明な背景のロゴを、JPGにしたら、背景が白くなった。これは仕様です。
理由
JPGは、透明な部分を表現できない形式です。変換のときに、透明な部分を白で埋める処理になります。
透明を残したいとき
- 提出先が、PNGを受け付けるなら、PNGのままにする
- JPGしか受け付けないなら、背景が白で問題ないか確認する
背景を白以外にしたいとき
このツールには、背景色を変える機能はありません。別の画像編集アプリで、背景色を付けてから、変換してください。

Why
JPG can't represent transparency. During conversion, transparent areas are filled with white.
If you want to keep transparency
- If the recipient accepts PNG, keep it as PNG
- If only JPG is accepted, check that a white background is acceptable
If you want a non-white background
This tool can't change background color. Add a background in another image editor and then convert.
Cases where it changes appearance
- Logos with white text: they become unreadable on white
- Illustrations with shadows: the shadow blends into the white
