Trim First: Cropping Before Shrinking an Image

Published: Oct 19, 2026 | Updated: Oct 19, 2026 | About (Japanese)

Key points
  • Cropping unneeded parts lightens it without losing quality
  • Then shrink with "Compress & Resize Images"
  • Keep the original

Image file size grows with the number of pixels. Reducing the area shown lightens it without losing quality.

Steps

  1. In "Crop & Rotate Image", crop to just the part you need and save.
  2. In "Compress & Resize Images", choose the cropped image.
  3. Choose size and quality, and compress.
