How to Cut Away Unneeded Parts of a Photo (Documents and ID Photos)

Published: Oct 19, 2026 | Updated: Oct 19, 2026 | About (Japanese)

Key points
  • For documents, crop close to the four corners
  • For portraits, consider space above the head and shoulders
  • Be careful not to cut too much

Photos of documents

  1. In "Crop & Rotate Image", choose the photo.
  2. Bring the area right up to the four corners of the document.
  3. Make sure no extra background remains, then save.

Leave a tiny margin so the edges of the document aren't cut.
