Should You Add Page Markers? Choosing Between On and Off

Published: Oct 19, 2026 | Updated: Oct 19, 2026 | About (Japanese)

Key points
  • "Add markers" for checking and citing
  • "No markers" when using the text as continuous prose
  • You can also delete them by hand later

"Add markers"

A marker such as "----- Page 2 -----" is inserted at the start of each page.

"No markers"

There are no page breaks; the text just continues.

If unsure

It's safest to extract with markers and delete the marker lines if you don't need them.

Extra note

A sentence spanning pages looks split by a marker. In that case try "No markers".
