How to Crop an Image (Choose an Area and Save)
Key points
- Drag on the image to set the area
- Corners resize it; dragging inside moves it
- Save as JPG or PNG
Steps
- Open "Crop & Rotate Image" and choose an image.
- Drag on the image to make an area. Dragging a corner resizes it and dragging inside moves it.
- If needed, choose a ratio (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 3:4).
- Choose the save format (JPG / PNG) and tap "Crop".
- Save.
About quality
The cropped area keeps its original pixels. The original image is unchanged; the result is saved as a new file.
If it doesn't go well
- A very small area makes the image rough
- On a phone, dragging slightly outside a corner is easier to grab
Tools that go well with this
