How your files stay on your device
When you open a page, the tool's program is loaded into your browser. The files you choose are read only in the browser's memory, converted or edited there and saved to your device. During this, the contents of your files are never sent to a server on the internet. That is why you can use it for documents you don't want to leave your hands, such as résumés and certificates.
Operator and contact details are on the About / Contact page (Japanese).
FAQ
Are my files really never uploaded?
Yes. Conversion and editing run only inside your browser, and files are not sent to any server. On a computer you can open the developer tools "Network" tab while using a tool to confirm that no request carries your file.
Is it free? Do I need to register?
Everything is free and needs no registration or login. Just open a tool page and use it.
Does it work on phones (iPhone and Android)?
Yes. Open it in your phone's browser (Safari, Chrome and so on), choose files, process and save. It works the same way on a computer.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
The site sets no limit, but because processing happens on your device, it depends on your device. As a rough guide only, on a phone, PDFs up to a few tens of MB or pages and about 20–30 photos at a time tend to be stable. Beyond that, it can be slow or stall. In that case, try again in several smaller batches.
Is my original file left unchanged?
Your original file stays as it is. The result is saved as a new file. Using compression or a size limit can lower quality or make PDF text unselectable.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
No. Please remove the password first.
Do I have to tip to use the tools?
No. All tools are free to use without limits. A tip (¥300) is entirely optional, only if you found the site useful.
