How to Pull Out Just Some Pages of a PDF for Printing
Key points
- Select only the pages you want and make a new PDF
- Convenience-store printing is priced by page count
- Preview orientation and margins before printing
When you only want to print part of a long document, printing everything is wasteful.
Steps
- In "Extract or Delete PDF Pages", choose the PDF.
- Tap the pages you want to print, choose "Keep" and save.
- Register the resulting PDF with a print app or a convenience-store net print service.
Printing notes
- Convenience-store printing is priced by page count, so fewer pages cost less.
- Mixed page orientations can break the print layout. Align them first with "Rotate & Reorder PDF Pages".
- Choose black-and-white or color in the print settings.
Checking
- Check in the preview that no edges are cut off
- Test-print one sheet to see that small text doesn't blur
Tools that go well with this
- Split PDF: Split a PDF into several files: one page each, every N pages, or by ranges.
- Rotate & Reorder PDF Pages: Fix sideways pages, change the page order, or remove pages.
- Compress PDF: Shrink a PDF to fit under a size you choose, for upload limits.
