PDFのプロパティは、ページには表示されない、書類の「名札」のような情報です。主な項目を整理します。
主な項目
- タイトル：書類の名前。ブラウザのタブなどに表示されます。
- 作成者：書類を作った人の名前。
- 件名：書類のテーマを書く欄。
- キーワード：検索のための言葉。
- 作成ソフト：元の書類を作ったソフト（Wordなど）。
- 変換ソフト：PDFに変換したソフトや仕組み。
- 作成日：PDFが作られた日時。
- 更新日：最後に変更された日時。
- 注釈：コメントや書き込み。作者名と日時を伴うことがあります。
それぞれの注意点
- 作成者と注釈は、個人の名前が入りやすい項目です。
- 作成日・更新日は、いつ作ったかが分かります。提出の締め切りなどに関わるときは、気をつけてください。
- ソフト名は、通常、問題になりません。
確認と削除
- PDFのプロパティを確認・削除 で、PDFを選びます。
- 上の項目が、一覧で表示されます。
- 不要な情報は、「すべて消す」で消します。
覚えておくこと
- これらは、ページの内容ではありません。ページの文字や画像は、このツールでは変わりません。
- 「更新日」の表示は、ソフトや時間帯の設定で、見え方が変わることがあります。

PDF properties are information like a name tag for the document that is not shown on the pages. Here are the main fields.
Main fields
- Title: the name of the document. Shown in places like the browser tab.
- Author: the name of the person who made it.
- Subject: a field for the topic of the document.
- Keywords: words for searching.
- Created with: the software that made the original document (such as Word).
- Converted by: the software or mechanism that converted it to PDF.
- Created: the date and time the PDF was made.
- Modified: the date and time it was last changed.
- Annotations: comments and markup. They may carry an author name and a time.
Points about each
- Author and annotations are the fields that most often hold a personal name.
- Created and modified dates show when it was made. Be careful when it matters for a submission deadline.
- Software names are normally not a problem.
Check and remove
- Choose the PDF in View and Remove PDF Properties.
- The fields above are shown as a list.
- Remove what you do not need with "Remove everything".
Keep in mind
- These are not page content. This tool does not change the text or images on the pages.
- How the "Modified" date appears can vary with the software and time zone settings.
