使い方

  1. 「PDFを選ぶ」で、PDFを1つ選びます。
  2. ページを表示し、黒塗りしたい部分を、指（マウス）でなぞって囲みます。スマホでは、先に「範囲を選ぶ」を押します。
  3. ほかのページも、同じようにします。全ページの同じ場所を塗るときは、「全ページに同じ範囲を適用」を押します。
  4. 「黒塗りしてPDFを作る」を押し、プレビューを見て、PDFを保存します。

注意

  • 黒塗りしたページは画像になります。そのページの文字は、選択・検索できなくなります。
  • 下の文字も、ファイルに残りません。黒塗りしていないページは、元のままです。
  • 保存したら、開いて、黒塗りの下の文字が選択できないことを確認してください。
  • パスワード付きのPDFは、扱えません。

よくある質問

PDFは外部に送信されますか？

いいえ。処理はすべて、お使いの端末のブラウザの中で行われます。

元のPDFは変わりますか？

変わりません。黒塗りしたPDFが、別に保存されます。

黒塗りを取り消せますか？

保存する前なら、「1つ戻す」で戻せます。保存したPDFの黒塗りは、元に戻せません。元のPDFは、残しておいてください。

How to use

  1. Tap "Choose a PDF" and select one PDF.
  2. Show a page and drag with your finger or mouse over the parts you want to black out. On a phone, tap "Select an area" first.
  3. Do the same on other pages. To black out the same place on every page, tap "Apply to all pages".
  4. Tap "Black out and create PDF", check the preview and save the PDF.

Notes

  • Redacted pages become images. Their text can no longer be selected or searched.
  • The text underneath is not kept in the file. Pages you did not redact stay as they were.
  • After saving, open it and check that the text under the black boxes cannot be selected.
  • Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed inside the browser on your device.

Is my original PDF changed?

No. The redacted PDF is saved separately.

Can I undo a black-out?

Before saving, use "Undo last". Black-outs in a saved PDF cannot be undone. Keep your original PDF.
