透かしの濃さ・大きさ・色の決め方：読みやすさとのバランス

透かしは、見えなければ意味がなく、濃すぎると本文が読めなくなります。ちょうどいいバランスの見つけ方です。
濃さ
PDFに透かし文字を入れるでは、薄い・ふつう・濃いから選べます。
- ふつうから、試すのがおすすめです。
- 文字が多いページには、薄いほうが、本文を読みやすいです。
- 写真や図が中心のページには、ふつう〜濃いでも、読みにくくなりにくいです。
大きさ
- 中央に1つ入れるなら、「ふつう」〜「大」が見やすいです。
- くり返す場合は、「小」〜「ふつう」にすると、文字が細かく並んで、全体に行き渡ります。
- 右下に小さく入れるなら、「小」で十分です。
色
- グレー：どの背景にもなじむ、無難な色です。
- 赤：目立たせたいときに。「提出用」「見本」に向いています。
- 青：落ち着いた印象です。
- 黒：薄い濃さと合わせると、グレーに近くなります。
向き
- 斜め：ページ全体にまたがって、本文と重なりすぎず、目立ちます。
- 水平：文字が読みやすく、短い言葉に向いています。
試して決める
最初は、1ページ目だけに入れて、プレビューで確認します。気に入ったら、すべてのページに入れます。
印刷するとき
画面で見るより、印刷すると、薄い色は、さらに薄く見えます。印刷して使うなら、少し濃いめにします。

Opacity
In Add a Text Watermark to PDF you can choose Light, Medium or Strong.
- Start with Medium.
- For text-heavy pages, Light keeps the body easier to read.
- For pages dominated by photos or figures, Medium to Strong is less likely to hurt readability.
Size
- For one centered mark, "Medium" to "Large" looks good.
- For repeating, "Small" to "Medium" spreads smaller marks across the page.
- For small, bottom right, "Small" is enough.
Color
- Gray: blends with any background; the safe choice.
- Red: when you want it to stand out; suits "For submission" or "Sample".
- Blue: a calm impression.
- Black: with light opacity it looks close to gray.
Angle
- Diagonal: spans the whole page and stands out without overlapping the body too much.
- Horizontal: easy to read and suited to short words.
Decide by trying
First add it to the first page only and check the preview. When satisfied, add it to all pages.
When printing
Light colors look even lighter on paper than on screen. If you will print it, go a bit darker.
