PDFを1枚にまとめると、両面印刷を組み合わせると、紙の量を大きく減らせます。

紙は、どれだけ減る？

たとえば、40ページの資料を、4in1＋両面で印刷すると、紙は5枚です。

手順

  1. このツールで、4in1などにまとめたPDFを作ります。
  2. 印刷の設定で、両面印刷を選びます。
  3. 綴じる向き（長辺とじ・短辺とじ）を、確認します。

綴じる向きについて

両面印刷に対応していないプリンターは

手動で両面にする方法もありますが、紙づまりや向き違いが起きやすいです。コンビニなどの、両面に対応した機器を使うほうが、確実です。

内容が透けないように

薄い紙に両面印刷すると、裏の文字が透けて、読みにくくなることがあります。少しだけ厚い紙を使うか、片面にします。

予備のコピーを

まとめて印刷したPDFは、そのまま保存しておくと、あとから同じものを印刷し直せます。

About the binding edge

If your printer lacks double-sided printing

You can do it by hand, but paper jams and wrong orientation are common. A device that supports double-sided printing, such as at a convenience store, is more reliable.

Preventing show-through

Printing both sides on thin paper can show text through the page. Use slightly thicker paper, or print one side.

Keep a copy

Keep the combined PDF as it is so you can print the same thing again later.
