How to Split a PDF Every N Pages (e.g. Two at a Time)
Key points
- Enter a number of 1 or more for N
- The last file may have fewer pages
- Handy for double-sided scans and same-format documents
Steps
- In "Split PDF", choose the PDF.
- Choose "Every N pages" and enter a number for N.
- Tap "Split".
Example
For a 10-page PDF with N=3, you get four PDFs.
- Pages 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, and 10
The last file holds whatever pages remain.
When to use it
- A double-sided scan you want split per sheet (two pages)
- Documents of three pages each, scanned together and separated per document
- Splitting evenly by page count because of an email size limit
Note
If documents have different page counts, "By ranges" splits more precisely.
