How to Split a PDF (One Page Each or by Ranges)
Key points
- Three ways: one page each, every N pages, by ranges
- Several files can be saved together as a ZIP
- The original is unchanged
Steps
- Open "Split PDF" and choose the PDF.
- Choose how to split.
- Tap "Split".
- Save the resulting PDFs one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Three ways to split
- One page each: every page becomes its own PDF.
- Every N pages: with "2", you get PDFs of two pages each.
- By ranges: writing "1-3, 4-5, 6-" makes one PDF per range.
After saving
File names get numbers (e.g. doc_01.pdf, doc_02.pdf). Rename them if the recipient specifies names.
Notes
- Password-protected PDFs can't be split.
- Up to 200 files can be made at a time.
Tools that go well with this
- Extract or Delete PDF Pages: Keep only the pages you need, or remove the pages you don't.
- Merge PDFs: Combine several PDF files into one, in the order you choose.
- Compress PDF: Shrink a PDF to fit under a size you choose, for upload limits.
