How to Split a PDF into One File per Page
Key points
- Just choose "One page each"
- With many pages, saving as ZIP is easier
- Files are named with numbers
This is handy when, for example, scanned documents are combined in one file and you want to hand each sheet to a different person.
Steps
- In "Split PDF", choose the PDF.
- Choose "One page each".
- Tap "Split".
- Tap "Save all (ZIP)".
Handling the ZIP
- Phone: tap the ZIP in the Files app to extract it.
- Windows: right-click the ZIP and "Extract All".
- Mac: double-click the ZIP.
Note
A PDF over 200 pages can't be split at once. Split by ranges in several rounds.
Checking
Check that the file count matches the page count.
