使い方

  1. 「ファイルを選ぶ」で、調べたいファイルを選びます。
  2. SHA-256などのハッシュ値が出ます。
  3. 配布元のハッシュ値を貼り付けると、一致するかどうかがわかります。

仕組み

  • ハッシュ値は、ファイルの中身から計算する、短い「指紋」のような文字列です。
  • 1文字でも中身が違うと、まったく別の値になります。

注意

  • MD5には対応していません。SHA-256・SHA-1・SHA-512を使います。
  • とても大きなファイルは、端末のメモリが足りず、調べられないことがあります。

よくある質問

ファイルは外部に送信されますか？

いいえ。処理はすべて、お使いの端末のブラウザの中で行われます。

ハッシュ値が同じなら、安全ですか？

中身が同じだとわかるだけです。配布元の値と一致していれば、途中で壊れたり書き換えられたりしていない目安になります。

How to use

  1. Tap "Choose a file" and select the file to check.
  2. Hashes such as SHA-256 appear.
  3. Paste the publisher's hash to see whether it matches.

How it works

  • A hash is a short fingerprint-like string calculated from the contents of a file.
  • Change even one character and the hash becomes completely different.

Notes

  • MD5 is not supported. SHA-256, SHA-1 and SHA-512 are used.
  • Very large files may not be checked if the device runs out of memory.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed inside the browser on your device.

If the hashes match, is the file safe?

It only shows the contents are identical. A match with the publisher's value is a sign the file was not damaged or altered on the way.
