How to use

How it works

  • Only files of the same size are compared, using a SHA-256 fingerprint.
  • Files with different names or dates still count as duplicates if the contents match.
  • Your originals are not changed.

Notes

  • A browser cannot delete the files on your device directly. Save and use the ZIP without duplicates.
  • Many or large files take longer.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed inside the browser on your device.

What about images that only look alike?

Only files with exactly the same contents count. Images that merely look similar are not found.
