How it works

  • AVERAGE gives the mean, MEDIAN the middle value and MODE the most frequent value.
  • MIN is the smallest, MAX the largest, STDEV the spread, COUNT the number of numbers and SUM the total.

Notes

  • The alternative can blank out errors, leave out zeros, or round the decimals.
  • The zero-free formulas for MEDIAN, MODE and STDEV use FILTER.
