- Tap "Choose a PDF" and select one PDF.
- Show a page and drag with your finger or mouse over the parts you want to black out. On a phone, tap "Select an area" first.
- Do the same on other pages. To black out the same place on every page, tap "Apply to all pages".
- Tap "Black out and create PDF", check the preview and save the PDF.
Notes
- Redacted pages become images. Their text can no longer be selected or searched.
- The text underneath is not kept in the file. Pages you did not redact stay as they were.
- After saving, open it and check that the text under the black boxes cannot be selected.
- Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
