How it works

  • Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei and Reiwa are supported.
  • For years like 2019, where the era changed mid-year, both are shown.

Notes

  • On résumés, keep to one style (AD or Japanese era), following the recipient's rule.
  • Years before 1868 (Meiji 1) are not supported.
