How to use

How it works

  • Empties the author, last modified by, company and similar fields.
  • The original file is untouched; the result is saved as a new file ending in _clean.
  • Useful for a final check before you send a file outside.

Notes

  • Names written in the body, tables or images are not removed.
  • Tracked changes and hidden text are not removed by this tool.
  • Word comments can be removed by ticking the box.
