How it works

  • DATEVALUE turns date text into a date value.
  • YMD8 turns eight digits such as 20261001 into a date, and YM6 turns six digits such as 202610 into one.

Notes

  • VALUE turns number text into a number and TEXTNUM turns a number into text.
  • DATETEXT turns a date into text such as 2026-10-01.
